I love the conclusion of "the wolf in me." People who have a strong feeling for justice see things as "black and white." So it's understandable. But as another poet said, black has all the colors. Yet, symbolically black and white has had that evil and good meaning.

Your color poem works perfectly with the artwork. Author information is hidden but your spelling in the last line makes me think that perhaps Wolfe is your last name? A clever conclusion if that's the case. Well done.

good job at this poem; I like your choices, black and white. I also like how you link them to concepts of good and evil. If I were writing this I would write about the Blue and Red Divisions of the country.

I am enamored with this poem. I love the melody that your dictions sing throughout my mouth and mind as I read it. And then the surprising rhymes that pop up at the perfect moment moments. I didn't notice any rhymes until later in the poem because they are so well written they don't stick out like nettles in the grass. They slip down easily like silken wine. And then, just when I think you have finished with your brilliance, no. Your last line is the chaser...the chocolate. What a delicacy you have created! (I am out of 6's...so sorry.)
