Congrats on winning this contest. Though time has been an issue, I do read every entry and vote for the one I feel is most deserving. On occasion, my vote is FIRST and I circle back to leave a review as my life permits. That is the case with this Lune. You had my vote, no question! Matters not to me if it's a two-cent payout... I try very hard to keep up with reviews, even when they're tardy! As I've mentioned before, I had the privilege of seeing the Northern Lights once in my life and it was the most stunning thing I've ever experienced!

You are indeed lucky to see the Northern Lights. I have only seen them in movie clips or photographs.
The two cents payout is typically because normally I don?t have enough shekels to boost each poem I post. Review or vote when time or interest is available to you. LOL

I know you understand. I sometimes sign on and have 90-plus reviews pending. I used to religiously answer each one, in order... Now I do what I can when I can--most often ay after something has gone off of "promotion." No worries! I'd love to have six hours a day to devote to FS--

Apparently the voters like this poem. I have only seen those northern lights in movies or photos - in real life they must be spectacular!

Lovely illustration with the aurora borealis. It really looks like a "fluorescent sea" that is glimmering. Your reference to "moonbeam" must have been used because of the "lune" form. Best wishes in the contest.

Yes, the Lune format works for this poem. There are other Lune formats, including counting words and not syllables. Thanks for your support for this contest entry.
