As far as I can see, your eyes may tell you lies, mislead you badly, have things turn out sadly. Take a look around you, do not be surprised who, when you were lost, who might have found you.

Great rhymes throughout this short poem. But it makes me feel a bit sad. Still there is hope in pressing on and doing "what is due" until the "daylight dies" and look to a new day when "tomorrow's sun will rise."

Your poem was well written, Bill. I enjoyed the rhymes, the
smooth flow, and the hidden message (if there is one). It
seemed to me you were some people's eyes see only what
they want to see despite the reality. They are blind to what
has gone on because it didn't fit their agenda.
