I like the artwork you chose for your writing. It is very colorful. The eye expresses the soul of the pain in some of the writing. This was a fine installment. Great job!

I am most grateful that you manage to bleed onto the page...

With rage... and to disengage...

I can only imagine the cerebral split to see suicide as salvation.

There is a mania about thus that makes sense.

Like a maze to Hell and back, and no rest...never rest...

Your pain cuts like a razor.

The Extremity of the situation was so intense.
Yes, I felt not a physical feeling of pain it was 100% mental.
And thanks for your review Karenina.

THIS intensity never wanes, I fear. We learn to push through it... We have to.

Excellent poem so honest and raw. I know how you feel. You did get more grief than any of us can take. I'm sorry about that. It sounds you found some peace in God. I'm glad about that. This would have been a great entry for the real story contest. Well done.

There ate events in our lives that can either define us and compel us to dwell in misery or in the hope of things to come, a dawning of fresh pastures, or desert experiences. You've probably had both Ricky. Negotiating life is hard enough, with pitfalls on the way. Beautifully written my friend, blessings Roy

I thought your story was terrific. I liked the beginning because of the build-up and intensity of wanting to know the character's problem. Your repetition of words that to me showed emotion, dealing with a sensitive topic. Also, you were very creative in your form of writing.

The way your described this event in sensory detail, the reader will be able to reexperience the emotional and spiritual turmoil, viscerally. I'm sensing healing on all levels if you will receive it.

    Well Ulla, it doesn't really.
    (In a larger manner)
Still affect my living abilities in a negative way.
But I do journal it still to prevent that because depression is a nasty and returning animal.

I must ask if you would forgive me the question- is there light at the end of your tunnel? Really none of my business but I would love to read something by you that brought me happiness. Again, none of my business. I have a brother languishing in pain as you. He is a God-fearing man like you and like you he lives in his darkened past. Again, none of my business. Thank you for sharing.

Yes sir and there is a beautiful light but it's not at the end of the tunnel.
It's at the beginning for me
because it gave me a second chance!
The end of the tunnel is the entrance into death and I pray to God no one has to experience that.
When I was extremely chronically depressed and psychotic which means you can't eat or sleep.
At age 49 my psychiatrist Dr Buchan said you're never going back to work I lost 30 lb in a month.
It's all part of a testing. If it happens in three or more incidents in less than a short period of time such as losing your child losing your spouse losing your job losing your house losing your driver's license it could be even losing the pet you so much love it shatters your ability to think and destroys you slowly as of creeping death is strangling your brains!
No medication no psychiatrist no friends or family no priest or church the only thing that helps is time and a lot of time and holding on with all your might!
I do hope that Gives your brother what he needs.

I'm glad you're still with us and able to share your story. I know it will help others. Thank you for sharing. I pointed out a few issues, but I'm wondering if they aren't intentional. If they are I'm sorry, I pointed them out.

So into the room again for the next twrnty minutes again. (twenty??)

'Who had did this to you?' (you can omit the 'had')

The next thing that happened was A van pulled up (lower case 'a' on 'a')

This is so sad and had to be so painful and horrible to live through. You used very good descriptive words and very good imagery with the art work you chose. I hope this is not the end of the story. Take care of yourself. Teri

I will say this was extremely lengthy and two parts.
But it's an old story that I've told quite a few times here on Fanstory.
And, it never gets too dull and it always is quite impressive.
Yes, as there can be a period in your life when you will lose your mind completely.
