Another winner. I think Fanstory should give us a few more sixes. I'm always out by Friday. This was a reaffirming poem. God protects and forgives. Jesus paid the ultimate price for our forgiveness. Beautiful, as always. Gretchen

Roy...
This is a great poem with a great message. Thank you for sharing it with us. Your words of safety, acceptance, commitment, and protection are comforting and welcomed in today's world of danger, rejection, indifference, and vulnerability. Well said.
Technically, your poem is exceptional. Strong theme, focused content, steady flow, and a comfortable pace. Your rhythm, meter, and rhyme are flawless. Well done.
Blessings...

Your words are certainly powerful. The visual is one of the strongest I have seen, therefore I gave it 6 stars. The anguish, suffering and plea that is being made is gripping. Is this in Calcutta?

Morning Roy,
This is a good statement of faith. A good loving father would never neglect a child. God is this Father who son Jesus gives us forgiveness through his sacrifice.
Keep writing and stay healthy.

One's house should be a refuge strong,
where love and grace will linger long.
I find these two lines as very powerful in this poem. That's how I think of God and heaven. Although, Jesus is the essence of my faith, I believe God's refugee is open to all mankind. The poem is quite compelling. Always find you compose poetry like a Mozart, a genius with words and rhyming.

This is beautifully written. I love your last line: His faithfulness and love's my plea. In a world where people are shamed for speaking out for our faith, your light shines brightly.

Really important subject matter and well expressed. This did make me think. I felt that the rhyming was perhaps a little 'shoe-horned' in from time to time, for example 'a refuge strong'. And for me this distracted me slightly from the message of the poem but overall I did enjoy it. Blessings.
