and if you did have: a magical wand that could eliminate tears do to sorrow, we wouldn't know of happiness. Why because how do we know happiness, if we do not have sorrows for comparison. Still, I am willing to give it a try should it come to fruition.

I know I messed up there .. another reviewer wrote a similar comment but referred to grieving when someone dies.
this was my reply :
A valid point, .. someone we know sooner or later will die and grieving his/her passing is part of the process of being able to move on eventually.
When I wrote that line I had just finished writing about animals being abused/ in chains (and even people ) so I was thinking /referring to their sorrow.
And to Needless sorrow due to violence and war.

Thank you for reviewing my poem . I am glad that my words touch your heart. All the ugly things in this world are caused by mankind.
It's sad that that our dark side fuels so much of our actions.
PS. I google the poem 'If" and read it and found a well-written analysis. I enjoyed the read and the good advice /wisdom in the poet's words.

Life is not going well here in Europe now due to the gas sanction ..factories are
closing especially in Germany (it got 45% of its gas from Russia) and in Italy (35%).
This war is madness.

This is a well done kyrielle. It is a strong repeating line. This shows all the ills in the world that we all wish to correct. Though I do think you can't get rid of all the sorrow because grief of break ups and natural deaths will always be with us. Though getting rid of the needless grief due to violence and war is needed.
