This is a lovely story well-told. Blame writing on your brother but Miss Rose gave you the joy of having someone believe in you and encourage you to write more.

This is a delightful story. Obviously you had a great imagination at a very early age. That could, even now, be published in a children's book! A good illustrator could make it come alive for children. One little suggestion: Early in second paragraph-would be he never let an opportunity "pass" or "get past." I love your story.
