A rousing tale of maritime mayhem, indeed. I liked the use of all spoken words in the early verses--and thanks for sparing me 'Shiver me timbers' and a boat load of 'arrrgh's. When you switched to narrative, I was ready for that, too.
I remember a streamed program called Black Sails that featured a woman pirate named Anne--but I can't recall her last name. Perhaps the same woman.

Anyway, I enjoyed. Best of luck with the Committee.

    Thanks for a great review - glad you liked it. I tried to watch Black Sails twice, but never got beyond episode 2. Pity, it was filmed here, in the Stellenbosch winelands - 3 galleons prominent in the winelands sort of stick out, (Cape Town film studio's). I see on the cast list a crew member called Anne Bonny, who was a real pirate. Outlander series 3 was also filmed there.
