I think I've missed too much to know who the good guys are, but I'm thinking they aren't sure either. It's great Ohmie got to go to the top of the Jungfraujoch, but he seems to be getting weaker.

Yes, Ohmie is dying. So far, only Ohmie and Dad are good guys.

My favorite line in this one is...She didn't cry, but her eyes did.
So Ohmie. The "visit" by the bad guys was a delight to read. And then the line...Stage four lymphoma will make a little girl out of you...HA! Priceless. You are great at the Ohmie zingers. I am creating a name for it. Ohmiespeak. You are great at giving this folk character a voice.

Thank you. I haven't thought of it, but YES!
I love Ohmiespeak!
You make me want to just blab the entire story!

Great chapter, Wayne. I want to take a nap every time Ohmie does! For a kid with cancer, he has way more energy than I do. lol Well written. It's nice to have visitors, as long as they didn't bring COVID with them. Oops, sorry. I just got a negative test today, after two weeks of it, so I'm doing my happy dance. Enjoy your time. Ohmie can wait.

You're most welcome, Wayne. :)

It's always great to see something or someplace new, but just the word vacation makes me think of having to do what five or six other people want for some extended period of time. LOL. Thanks for sharing.

Tell 'em your going to Death Valley next summer.
Thank for the review.

LOL. I'm not sure I'd even want to go there alone. I'm anxious to learn what you have to say about my new post that's way outside my comfort zone. Have wonderful week!

So many dangers from every direction, and not knowing who to trust ... if anybody ... makes this full of suspense. Add to that Ohmie's cancer and it makes one just want to be sure that they will all be okay in the end. Yes, cancer will make "a girl" out of a boy who wants to be tough. Girls are just as tough, but boys of that age would never acknowledge that, so t was appropriate that he would think of that expression. Well done.

Thank you.
I thought of that expression hard and decided to go with what Ohmie would say. But you are 100% correct, of course.

The more chapters I read the more I want to see what happens next. I do think I missed one in between.
This is well written. I didn't see any errors in grammar.
Good work!

Thank you. They're all up there.

I'm sure, despite company, you'll catch back up quickly:-)
I like the line about stage four lymphoma making a girl out of you, since Ohmie has to dress like a girl and that line ties the two together. But we may have a few "girls" reading this who feel that they can handle cancer as well as a boy. Just a thought.
Another good read in the series, Wayne. We'll wait patiently for the next installment. Enjoy your company!

I 'did' have that thought (girls). But Ohmie would have had the thought, so...
Thank you for the very nice review.

I am hoping for Ohmie's sake, and for mine because I believe in optimism, and I believe in life, but having said that, I've lost a lot of people, friends and family, and a lot to cancer. This is a great episode, with dad absent, and folk of questionable nature looking for him, beautifully written, blessings, Roy
