This is another enjoyable poem. The message comes across so well. The word choices are excellent. And most of all I enjoyed the message in your poem. Great job again.

I hope people get the word out to sign organ donor card to help others get their transplants. With the holidays looming up quickly everyone is going to need blood transfusions. I thank everyone for supporting the cause to help others get a second chance in life.

I don't think we can ever overcome tragedy completely, particularly the loss of a child, my sister had to put a child up for adoption, being in the days of no toleration to pre marital motherhood, particularly at 13, and she lost a child at 18 months, mercifully she had another. Beautifully written Ricky, blessings Roy

Yes people stayed home from school back then when they got pregnant.
Good to hear a happy ending here.

A very poignant story, emanating from pain and deep loss, but also with strands of hope in survival.

Our family withstood a painfully similar loss, long before I was born; he was 21 years old; motorcycle, no helmet. The loss passes on for generations. We honour him through the lives we lead, remembering him kindly and the people he touched as well as speaking his name.

I wish you all the best. Thank you for sharing your story through your writing.

    Motorcycle accidents normally kill.
Nee Jersey the most densely populated state is bad.
    Sorry Marien for the loss.
