This is an outstanding story. You have the protagonist so detailed that I find myself holding my own breath when the proverbial Shit hits the fan. I enjoyed his reactions to the contents of the vagrants bag. Really exceptional writing. Gretchen

Oh No! You were caught with the goods. Well what could be so valuable to anyone but you and the Hobo? I'm sure the cops wouldn't know the value of it, but you knew it as survival didn't you? Just one thing. I think there's a typo: 'With multitudes of people roaming about it donned on me...,' it should be it dawned on me
