This is one of the silliest stories I have ever read. It is hard to make sense of some parts of it, but maybe it is supposed to be that way. Whatever, I did get a kick out of your story. Good luck in the contest.

Clever. And lots of buried references (almost certainly more than I picked out). Madcap for sure, which may confuse many (including me) at times, but I rather suspect that's part of the point. It felt a bit like listening to a cross between Spike Milligan and Terry Pratchett. Quite a few smirks along the way. If I have to be critical - I'd dial back the incomprehensibility very slightly in the middle. Hope Nessie was in good health.
