Another wonderful post, my friend :) The artwork is eye-catching, too.
The last paragraph is my favorite. A great message!
Don't point beyond the valley's depths, but look to God above,
He sent His Son Lord Jesus Christ to give His life in love.
For nothing else can please the Lord, but faith in sacrifice,
His blood that's shed can cleanse all souls, our faith pays every price.
Always your fan,
Shana :)

Our role in life seems to be to keep the faith and love other and above all to love God and seek to follow wherever he leads. I'm glad that he realized the we are all sinners and there is no way we can reach perfection in our present state.

Love that verse. Hebrews 11:6 your poem is with unforced rhymes and flows. But best of all it flows with truth as green as a valley and rocky as a mountain side. On point

another masterful exploration of your Christian faith. This one is a bit too preachy for my taste but is well done from a poetic craft point of view so I gave it a high rating.

What a beautiful poem of faith. I love the imagery of the mountains. That they don't hide. We sin and try to reason our way out of it. It's hard to hold yourself accountable, but God's love is so strong and his forgiveness is all encompassing. Lovely poem, Roy. Gretchen

We are light, His voice, hands and feet. Much to do until He returns, which seems to be coming. Thank you for stirring us to act, my brother.
Sending you my best today as always,

A fine poem, and well written. I don't think it's our faith that pays every price, Jesus did. We only sacrifice our worldly views and plans. That's what you were saying?
"It's" should not have an apostrophe here, as that is short for "it is". Thank you for sharing.

This is a lovely poem to go to bed on, Roy. Faith is all we have, and that's all we need. The older I'm getting the more I think about my faith in God. Is it enough? Your words give me hope, and the strength to trust myself. Thank you, my friend, this was just what I needed. Love and hugs. Sandra xx

Hi Roy ~
It IS tough to balance the fact that sin separates, that we all sin and that conviction is a necessary part of salvation and the love that God has for man, even in a fallen state. People are such delicate creatures these days! Talking about sin seems to be offensive to many folk. How do we lead them to salvation if they don't acknowledge that sin exists?
Well done on the poem! I hpray that someone reading it will feel God tug at their heart.
Blessings,
Deb
