Love the message behind this post! :)
It just shows how a strong faith in our Lord can conquer all. It gets me through the toughest times. I can't imagine living my life without faith. It's like a warm embrace, wrapping me with love and healing.
Love this part:
Though ten feet tall he was no match,
compared to God a flea-bite's scratch.
Whatever giant comes your way,
faith in God will win your day.
Always your fan,
Shana :)

This poem was nicely rhymed and pleasant to read and very true. Most of those thing that seem overwheming go away on thier own or with God help so I don't spend a lot of time worrying about them. Like you say most of the are like toothless dogs.

The story of David and Goliath is very inspiring. The giant thought he would easily win, but David had the power of Almighty God with him. We cannot depend on our own strength, but when we trust the Lord, we can defeat the giants of fear and doubt that come against us

Roy,
As a silly human, we have tendency to make mountains from molehills. We fret and sweat until things that do not have to be huge, swell up right in front of us.
It is a great message for us all to remember. Thank you!

All sorts of giants take over our minds, and sometimes our bodies. I know God is more powerful than any of them. Even if we only have small faith, the size of a mustard seed, we can move mountains. We just need to allow God to work in and through us. Thank you for the reminder.

Yes, the Giants in our lives can be very intimidating and foreboding. We must right them with spiritual weapons to be successful. The story of David and Goliath is still one of my favorites.
Goliath was actually 9' 9" tall according to Biblical measurements.
Sending you my best today as always,

I thought the story telling in your poem was terrific. This is an enjoyable poem. So well written with natural rhyme (didn't notice it until the second read which says alot). Great job!

Yes, the giants in one's mind hold a lot of power until we realise to whom we belong and the power of His might, as in the case of David and Goliath. Well written. Enjoyable read. Is it possible for you to increase the font size? I often struggle with the small font.

Amen! That has to be one of the best stories of faith and you have applied the story of David and Goliath to the walk of faith where we have to battle so many metaphorical giants whether physical or mental or spiritual. Great spiritual message!

It's true, He is bigger than any problem in this world. We must keep faith and trust in Him, and all will be well. Sometimes, it doesn't seem that way, but I've found it works for me.
