The format is intriguing here and the way lines connect is very thought-provoking at times. Who is claiming the universe I wonder?
I did have a hard time understanding the connecting theme. When reading, I could infer the direction from key words like science, universe and claim stake, but it wasn't clear how all those ideas connect. In a poem like this I would have wanted to see the culmination of an the different wordplay stanzas create more of an emotional connection.

Very interesting. The experience of reading this felt quite new to me. It elicited the feeling that I was edging up next to an idea but never quite breaking through.
There are a few instances where you should make the word a direct action by adding an 's':
the future directs the future
and
science claims science
In this line, you have 'a' where it should be 'an':
