    no, Bill, they came to her defense. And the bit about the FBI is a jab at the present unbelievable behavior of that bunch.
    This poem was meant to be silly and hopefully amusing. (except for the FBI!)

I knew it! I fell in to "The Raven" cadence by the fourth line! Quite clever, this! I went back and read it several times...

I'm addicted to funny nonsense poems!

    Thank you! I think I slipped out of the Raven cadence at times. It was late, and I kept nodding off. But it was fun.

    The Raven was a poem my older brother helped me memorize when I was a pre-teen. This was great!

This is a nonsense poem that meets the contest prompt. Your writing used good words to capture the flow and write a solid ending. Good work keeping the flow on track. It is sometimes difficult to keep nonsense poems in the pocket.
