This is a beautiful love poem to your wife. My favorite part was:
"Our years together, with time stealing tears,
when life laughed at our lives,
when even faith trembled,
our love survived."
Lots of couples are drawn by that first glance and attraction but few are blessed with the long-lasting devotion that you describe here.

Thank you, Helen. :) It's a good feeling to have. Yet, it is lonely when one is by himself. My wife has been taking care of her mom for the last 2 weeks and it's going to last 3 more weeks. I'm going nuts by myself!

It seems we get younger the longer we stay with our spouse. Wanda and I will be married 46 years in November. Things may sag a little but we're as young as ever. What a wonderfully written poem.
