This is the start of a good free verse nonsense poem. The font size is great for reading. The poem was flowing well to this point. You cannot have a plural number of writers for the novel and also one writer for the novel. You need to fix this area} they have recently published a novel It's called Silly Clowns, written by Mr. Dog} perhaps make the THEY into "a dog".
The visual fits perfectly. Good luck in the contest.

The picture was adorable and perfect for your words. Those
