A lovely story, very enjoyable, especially with the added information in your Author's Notes, and seeing the photo. All the little frogs were accepted and loved, and cared for, regardless of colour. There is surely a lesson here.

What a fun story, Mike. I enjoyed reading it. You did a great
job with the theme. I believed you were encouraging people
to enjoy the different peoples they come in contact with and
to treat them with respect. The three tree frogs represented
that group. However, Mama Frog saw no differences in the
amount of love and care she gave each of her children. Your
picture is awesome. Yes, I know about painting rocks. A frog
rock would be perfect.
Thanks for sharing, Jan

I love the adventure of Mrs. Frog and her babies. Good to know they all arrived at their choice of homes safely. I think it's great you have this wonderful little family in your garden. I'm jealous. 8-)

Hello, my friend. All you need is rocks, a little spray paint, a hot glue gun, and some googly eyes. Wash the rocks first to get all of the dirt off. Thank you for your kind words.

Have a great day, and God bless.

This is a cute story, and an interesting story about the story. The family hobby of painting rocks sounds like fun. My husband and I bought a house years ago that had a large rock in the backyard. We asked the builder to remove it. He said he deliberately left it because many people like to paint rocks for their front yard. He must have known of the southern tradition. We had the rock removed. Your picture is adorable.
