Hi Roy,
The one line that stood out in your poem is,
"no longer blind, now I could see."
It reminded me of a song I used in many of my own concerts... "Since I Met Him" by my favorite Gospel singer/songwriter, Don Francisco. Here he is, singing with his wife, Wendy. I hope you'll enjoy it,

I love the picture you have chosen to illustrate your poem. So glad that Jesus came and made a way we could enter into salvation, and also gave us a hope of spending eternity with Him. We don't know the day nor hour He will call us home, but we have peace about what lies beyond.

Your deeply spiritual and reverent poem conveys a powerful message--that God revealed to us the ONE Way to be saved, to hear His voice, to go to Heaven.

God has plenty gifted treasures. My edit advice to you is to make the gifted treasure more visible, because not being clear takes away from what you're really trying to say in the third and fourth stanzas. Stanza 1 and 2 are playful but too open.

It is amazing, isn't it, how easy it is to find salvation and how few look. Such a mystery of life...
I love the poem and, especially, the verses you shared.
Thank you again for all you do.
Blessings,
Deb

God's grace is not hidden, for all who want to see. Some turn their backs and refuse to look. Some want to avoid the implications. Well written.

It is true that salvation isn't something we see with human eyes but neither is it hidden from those who desire it. Christ puts the desire in our hearts to find it an when we seek it, he will reveal it to our spiritual eyes which He gives us freely.

This poem reminded me of one of my favorite old-time hymns, "Amazing Grace". Sometimes when my day gets bad, I sing that hymn and it always helps. I really like this stanza. It hit home.
The flood of grace then captured me,
no longer blind, now I could see.
I can rejoice, I hear God's voice,
for I was free, I've made my choice.

Hello Roy,
well done on your poem. You're always quick to share your faith, and you do it in a way that honors God. You seem to have mastered a love language that wants to share in the goodness that you've experienced.
Have a blessed day.
