Well told, Roy. Here's praying that we all have fewer idle words and more that carry weight and meaning in the next life!
I know God is gracious... That is our only hope.
Blessings,
Deb

That's a bit scary, 'cause I'm afraid most of my words are idle ones. However, I'm not one to chatter to fill the silence. Silence can be very comforting with old friends.

Hello Roy,
It's scary to think that my words will be answerable to the Almighty. I hope that the grace that has covered me will be in play then as well. As I age, I spend more time thinking of how close the end could be. We live on borrowed time I suppose. Thanks for sharing this.
Have a blessed day.

I loved your new for of the "quantup" which is like the quatern but repeats the fourth line in a cascading manner.
I do like your repeating line!

An interesting Quantup, Roy. I found your words rather true and interesting. The last two sentences of your poem said it all and that is a definite. Blessings.

It is a hard task you have reminded us of here Roy. To make every word count. Many people hate empty spaces in their day, and seek endlessly to fill the time with idle chatter. What do they become? Kate xx
