You are so right. And many people are not paying attention. Things are out of our control. Man has finally destroyed our planet, now they are going to other planets. They have messed up Earth, so now they are destroying other planets with their garbage. God help us.

Hi Jaybird, your poem is very timely, and its subject matter is something that is being discussed at almost everyone's dinner table. Right now the world is in a scary place, and that's not because Halloween is coming.
Your poem reads and flows well and has good rhyming within.

Oh, Jay. I wonder the same thing. This time, have we all gone too far astray? Can we find our way back in time to save our planet and stop the systematic slaughtering of humans at war? All is so divided right now! I pray we find some common ground!
