Hello Jay,
This one says it all. Our world is falling apart more and more each day and it's all due to the things that you mention in your very well written poem.
In my opinion, as long as man is still walking on the face of the earth, there will always be wars until the earth is completely destroyed.

You certainly hit the nail on the head with this one. Well worded, good flow. The message conveyed is so very emotional and true. In 2020, the area I live in was hit by two major hurricanes six weeks apart. Then there was an ice storm in 2021(we live in Southwest Louisiana and don't really get cold weather normally). Finally, in May 2021, our area was hit by a major flood. May God bless and keep you and yours safe.

I believe that Jesus is returning soon and with him comes what He warned us of in the scriptures: wars and rumors of wars, earthquakes, smoke in the sky, signs in the heavens, God-hatred, evil and violence. I can't believe His coming is too far away as these things increase. Comfort yourself in God's presence and in His holy word.

This is a beautifully written poem. It has a great flow and rhyme scheme.
Climate change brings heat and storms.
We are above the usual norms.Have mercy on our troubled souls,we'll never reach the needed goals.very well done. Enjoyed the read.

that you can do it poetically is a gift.
-You address many of the issues concerning
the environment and global warming, and more.
-A strong image is the plea to the Lord:
"please save our fractured souls."
-We definitely can use "more love and peace."
-They are all lofty goals to reach, but we have to keep trying.

I think there's a combination of things going on - the environment is approaching a critical mass of demand, and people as a whole are more informed than ever. Unfortunately, what they're informed by isn't always trustworthy!
