Some folks think selling coon cheese us funny but it is racist ti others being seperated from the human race by slurs and such

Oh, man. It just gets so frustrating the way everything seems to be challenged. This is a man's name. So be it! Sorry if it offends but there used to be a toothpaste named MacLean's toothpaste, that's my last name. So what? I didn't fuss. It just so happened to be the founder's last name (no relation). We are beginning to put far too much emphasis on what we say and not enough on what we do. I hope he keeps the name.

Wow... I'm so shocked at the packaging of the cheese product you shared. I can see why it would offend some. Maybe if they put the founder's full name, it wouldn't be so bad. But like you said, it doesn't matter, there will always be prejudice in this world. It's part of how Satan works. If we want to ever change ones attitudes, there needs to be a stronger faith in God.

A well-written poem pointing out the threatre of the absurd. It is a family name, and no intention to use as a racist statement.
I hope the owner does not give in to these idiots.
This calls for more common sense rather than political correctness and this is from a more liberal person.

Augh! Yes - we're going through that here, as well. Names of schools are being changed, streets are undergoing the name-change game and statues are being brought down because their history, which was the norm at the time, is offensive now. How can we judge that past by today's standards? It's nuts... Or we're nuts or something. lol
I saw a video of a lady yesterday who wants all people who support Trump to be banned from restaurants, banks, stores, etc. She says they are just 'uneducated white people'. (She was white, also, but I gues VERY educated...) Can you imagine the backlash if someone replaced the word 'white' with another color?
PC is strange.. It allows and disallows without reason. Is it wrong to hate a person because of color, ethnic background, socioeconomic, etc? Of course! But isn't it just as wrong no matter WHAT color, etc you are? No longer true in USA, sadly.
I'm not a big Trump fan, but that really made my skin crawl. It's similar to your cheese situation there.

I think people who are offended by a word are being ridiculous, especially if it happens to be a legimate last name. People can make a big deal out of nothing. I reamember we had a pastor once named Elder Coon. It didn't occur to anyone to think he should change his name.

Definitely an interesting picture, Roy. I am sorry but I agree with you that the name becomes racist. I grew up being Native Canadian and the slurs of so called racistism. It sure didn't affect me one way or another. Life goes on. Blessings.

from the founder's last name. There's nothing wrong with it. I sure
he didn't sit around thinking of an offensive name for his company
