I suspected that the title referred to 'sleep' literally, not figuratively. More interesting to me was the appearance of number 13 four times in this flight. That did seem to foreshadow a failure to get the job.

Knowing you as I think I do, I never for one moment thought that you would divulge something sordid about a revered person like Kitty Wells. If you knew something it would probably accompany you to your grave. People with moral standards that they would never violate for the sake of a story. It was a delightful story, and as for your luck or lack thereof, with those numbers you were doomed from the start. Actually you were lucky the plane didn't crash.
