I'm so sorry you lost your son, Jason. This poem really spoke of that experience in a powerful way. The repetition you used helped drive home the sorrow of the tale, and the power of a fathers love. Very well done. Thank you for sharing this.

Well first let me say thank you for reviewing this and secondly, my son thanks you.
Yes, even though, of course, he is in another dimension....
Or place...
Or depending on how you feel about things?
Yes like this and lastly?
The power of a parent's love for a loss is incredibly strong.

I think I need a little more clarity here. Are you equating the pain and anguish to the skinned knees? At first I thought they were not,
But now I'm not sure.
I feel
Like a double edged sword would cut twice as deep so that had me pondering.
Love all this last part

This is basically a religious song from church.
That I've taken and changed.
The Father and is not Heavrnly Father above.
The father in this case is me.
And in the end it's my son who is presenting himself.
(Jason passed away on March 31st, 2003)
Note: The loss of a child is a Parent's worst Nightmare.
A Gift that continues to give as long as the parent continues to live.
Thanks,
