Hi Sandra,
This is a good recap of Mildred's life and why she is a time traveler and a good set up for the next novel. Does Mildred have a Cockney accent.
Keep writing and stay healthy
Joan

Not a Cockney accent, it's a dialect of Cornwall. They are trying to bring the Cornish language back, which will be interesting. We don't live far from their and often go for long weekends, or longer. It is the most unchanged county in England. Going to Cornwall, is like stepping back in time, that's why I use it so much in my stories.
Thanks so much for reading this, Joan, I'm glad you found it helpful. I'll be away for the next two Sundays, but back and posting the first chapter on the 23rd of this month. You stay well and healthy, too, my friend. Warm hugs, Sandra xxx

If I ever get to England, maybe I will have to put that on my itinerary. I would also have to find the town of Worrall where my maternal grandfather's ancestors are from.
    You're welcome, Sandra

Hoo-boy! That is the most original, convoluted, and, I'll bet, exhausting plot line to write. I remember the characters from a couple years back, though I didn't follow your story back then. I'll do my best to keep up.

The story will begin when I come back from my holiday on 22nd October. I've written this one so that those who didn't know Mildred from before, can get an idea. This week I'll be introducing Bessie to Veronica and then I'll be all set to start.
Dear Bill, this is so nice of you to give me a six star, thank you! I only post once a week, it takes me that long to work it out and then to do some reviewing.
I love your description, convoluted, it truly is!! Lol. Thank you, my dear friend. I'll be so pleased to have you on board. Warm hugs, Sandra xx

Hello Sandra,
Well, this should clear things up for everyone, even those who have already read the early books.
"Mildred looked at her friends, Gladys who died by her husband's hands"
that line will grab the readers attention immediately.
"Her middle names for you," (name's- conjunction of name and is)
I'd like to read that book that tells them when the timeline's going to be changed. Perhaps you could send me a copy. :)
Well done, my friend.
Best wishes.
Robert

Lol, you are so funny, Robert, I love your review. When I wrote that line about Gladys, I didn't realise how funny it sounded until you mentioned it. Thank you for pointing out the missing apostrophe, I've done that twice now! I need to slow it down a bit.
I'm not surprised that you'd like to read that book, Robert, I've heard it's not half bad, in fact, one of the readers wrote a short story about Veronica and Mildred, which is such high praise that I might read it! AND I've been told that people have been crying out for more! LOL!!
Thank you so very much, my friend, and a big hug for the golden star! :)) Sandra xxx

Mildred looked at her friends, Gladys who (had) died by her husband's hands just before WW1, and Veronica, who came from the future. (delete)

This is very detailed and explains a lot. Thank you for sharing and have a great day.

Thanks so much, Jackie. I've deleted the 'had' now. This is just so those who didn't get to read my trilogy on here, will have a bit of an idea what Mildred is like. I'm glad you thought it explained it well. Thanks, my friend. ::)) Sandra xx

I think I get where Mildred came from. Even if I have it a little muddled, I'm still looking forward to knowing more about her and to her adventures with Bessie.

Mildred will muddle you for sure, Cindy! Lol. Putting Mildred with Bessie, (both time-travellers) will be fun. Thank you so much for at least attempting to understand this one! Lol. Warm hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

This perspective fascinates me. I'm finishing up a book that was factual until I diverted, having us vortex into a monastery in England the 16th century. I'm going to 'fan' you so I can follow this. You see, I love this: "a ghost from the early days of WW1 who would also become Mildred's deceased mother-in-law.)"

This one shows you more of where my time-travellers go, the three books are on Amazon, but I've left book 2 'Beyond That Time' and book 3, 'This Time it's Personal' which is the one with the ghost (they all have ghosts in) who becomes Mildred's deceased Mum-in-law, are still in my portfolio, if you want to flick through them. Bessie is the time-traveller from the novel I've just finished. 'The Return'. One more prelude coming, and then everyone who hasn't read the previous books should know a bit more about the characters. Thank you again for reading both of these. Warm hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

Well... I'm pretty sure I get it. lol. There's a lot there to digest, Sandra!
I like Mildred and am glad she's a recurring character in your books. I plan on grabbing one after I've got a few of my projects knocked out... Unless they're available in audio. I guess I ought to check on that.
Have you looked into audio? I'd love to do some of that! Guess I ought to finish a book first... Or at least, another book...
Blessings!
Deb

Hi Debs, I have to laugh at some of my reviewers remarks, it was a lot to handle put in so few words. But that is the gist of the three books that Mildred and Veronica starred in. When I was asked to bring her back, I said I would, but then others wanted me to bring Bessie back, so I thought, why not together!! You all seem to like that idea. I begin the 'real' book when I come home from my holiday, 4 weeks this Sunday. (I can't believe that! I'll be home in 4 weeks, and I haven't even been yet!)
Some of my early children's books are in audio, but that was years ago. I would like my novels done, but I'm hopeless at reading aloud, and the cost to have a professional do it, is way beyond my financial status now thanks to Putin!

Have a lovely day, my friend, and thanks again! :)) Sandra xxx

What a wonderful prologue, Sandra, about Mildred's life and the jobs they sent her back to do. Your books sound wonderful. I hope to pick up with the next one from the beginning this time.

Thank you, Theodore, I'm so pleased you liked my little piece on Mildred's time-travelling with Veronica. Mildred is bringing Bessie to meet her in the final piece later this week. Thanks again, my friend, have a lovely day. Warm hugs, Sandra xx

Hi John, thank you for this! I was worried those who don't know Mildred will be even more confused!! Lol. I'm so pleased you could, and I'm even happier that you will be following their story. Love and hugs, dear friend, Sandra. xxxx

This is perfect because it provided a reminder of Mildred, Gladys and Veronica, Sandra. There is also a mention of Doctor James. The picture was priceless. I am so glad that you are starting this one, the world is a better place because of it. Very well done and greatly enjoyed. Blessings n Hugs!

Hi Alie, what a lovely thing to say! Thank you so much. They will all be in the next story, but Mildred and Bessie will be doing the time-travelling, and Veronica will be working at home searching for relevant information on the internet. And her daughter Ann, will be able help with her own psychic abilities. So, I can have loads of fun i in this one. Thank you again, my dear, supportive friend! Love and hugs, Sandra xx
