Congrats on third place. Last night I wrote reviews like crazy. One was for this. It seems all of them disappeared into the ether and I'm laboriously going back trying to retrace my steps. Not sure why the glitch, but it's likely on my end. (Old laptop, very grumpy)...
This has me gasping! One of those I WISH was fiction, but sadly, is true...

Hi Kiwi, thank you so much for reading. Yes, it was disturbing and I felt badly for the little girl. She hurt her arm and then she was hurt again by the slap and how she must have felt at that time. It was hard to witness.

What a horrible thing to happen! I was really hoping this was fictional. I am glad that the young girl's arm was okay, but I was horrified that she was punished.

Oh how terrible, not only was she hurt, she got in even more trouble by the people who should have been concerned, at least you were the hero in her eyes.

This is a very well written story that gives enough information to allow the reader to understand what took place. Unfortunately, the little girl was injured and then punished, while you never received acknowledgement or a thank you for helping her. I wish you the best in the contest.

It appears that the writer leaves to readers to interpret what is going on, with out seemingly passing judgement or interpretation.
The title is provocative as it asks readers to interpret which parts of the picture are actually wrong.
