That was a horrible day for all those poor souls and their families. I can't begin to imagine what horrible deaths they suffered. When we received the message, my husband and I were picking up grain for our dairy cows. Nice writing. I wish you the best in the contest.

This is a perfect entry in the Share Your Story contest. Your title and accompanying image are striking and appropriate. What an unforgettable day it was. Your retelling of the events of 9/11 are compelling and sobering. I am from Bermuda and I learn in the days following that at least two Bermudians were in the towers and are counted among those who were lost that day. Your conclusion is the correct focus we should all have as we remember the tragedy of 9/11. Well done.

Thank you so much for your kind words. I believe I once heard that people from 87 different countries were in the towers that day.
