Hi Gypsy Queen,
the first line dragged me into memories, into feelings and emotions without going any further.
My grandmother who I lived with as a tacker made everything... homemade was it. We lived on a dairy farm and whilst her ice cream is till my fondest tasting memory, the strawberry jam and
high top crusty bread came a close second. Yes full of love and extra cuddles.
I wish you all the very best in this 5-7-5 poetry contest Reina Gitana.
Enviandote besos y abrazos de chocolate virtuales donde nadie sale lastimado(*U*)
With our thoughts we create...
comfort in love.
Kind regards,

I am sorry for the loss of your grandmother, she sounds like a loving soul. I can imagine how delicious were her homemade treats.
As always, I look forward to your reviews with anticipation, you are the best. When I don't hear from you, I wonder how you and your wife are doing in your piece of heaven.
Thank you very much for the exceptional six stars review, you are very kind.

Thank you for sharing this contest entry with us. My mom is 90 years old and still, just a few days ago, had my grandchildren pick her grapes, so she could make grape jam. It's the best. I would help but live 1600 miles away. I enjoyed reading and wish you luck with the contest.

Hi Gypsy, I miss the days of having breakfast on the porch. I always loved that outdoor/early/misty morning feeling. Of special note:
a jar full of love
(a jar full of love, indeed)
Great photo choice. A pleasure to read. Keep the blue waters flowing.

Mmm! I used to make jam every year but now we're trying our hardest to reduce our sugar intake...So I stopped. I liked the setting of starting the day with the reminder of love in the jar of jam.

I should stop eating sugar too. It's very hard because there are always delicious sweets in my daughter's house. (*~*) Good for you.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read and review my poem.

Your few syllables summed up Grandma's love well,
Gypsy. The presentation was great--the color scheme,
the images, and your well thought out words. Great
job with the haiku style.
Thanks for sharing, Jan

As a kid I always loved jam, when I was young, sweets or lollies as we Aussies call were heavily rationed, so jam was the go to sweet, beautifully written my friend, blessings Roy
Query: Wouldn't one have breakfast "on" a verandah Gypsy?

I like your Haiku- excellent picture presentation- makes me hungry!! Good word count and connection between lines- good contest poem - suggest- technically can't be in the porch - on the porch - better option- good luck!!
