I sure wish I had a six for this, because that is exactly what I think about all the time, and have been thinking about for the last 50 years as the socialists/communists took inch after inch. I haven't been able to write much fiction for months, because this is all I can think about. I just want to scream at people, "Wake up! You've been mesmerized! You know nothing of history or the rest of the world. You don't even know what you a racing to give up." The big mistake was letting government schools take the children and walking away. I've been advocating for separation of school and state for thirty years or more. Finally, we are seeing it come to pass, but perhaps in steps too small. Kudos, kudos, kudos.

thank you very much. I answered this once, but it must not have sent.
I really think people are so upset over their feeling of helplessness over this evil - and that's what it is - that their souls are sick. I have friends who say, about Trump's being cheated out of the last election, "Just forget it and move on." That infuriates me because it's that attitude - just forget the lies and injustices and move on, that makes us weaker.

I've read the manifold complaints of the US going dow the proverbial "gurgler", it provoked the thought from me that many empires have probably been in the same juncture too. Countries come an go, something happens to the energy and the will that built them in the first place. In many instances they replace God as a religious institution, and that's always been a mistake, beautifully written, blessings Roy

yes, Roy, I see what's happening to America as evil vs good - the Devil at work against God. How else can you explain the absolute malice and uncaring for children, for the lack of integrity in those trying to destroy their own country, for human decency, and it's all being done for one purpose - control.
