This is beautiful in its simplicity. It's sort of like the "I like you, do you like me" game we played as children. You know, you had to check one of the boxes.
Rhyming is great, it's an easy, simple read, gets the message across with little to no fuss and it's a pleasant poem.

This is a lovely love poem! The author's words are strong, loving caring,
descriptive and creative. I thought about being in love and how there is
nothing better! The author conveys this in the poem. The poem flows
