Sandra, I think it's a brilliant idea.If I were you, I would write one chapter at a time and see how it goes. It could well turn into a trilogy. You've got the main characters in place. I'm sure you already have some wonderful plots on the ready. All that pacing, wearing down the lawn will have paid off. Lol.

Thank you so much, Ulla! I'm quite excited about it. I won't post the first book until I return from holiday. I'm going on a cruise around the Canary Islands, on the 8th October until the 22nd, but I'll get the first chapter ready to post for the 23rd October before I go. I'm glad you like the idea! Well, nice way to carry on their story and I like the fourth wall breaking aspect of it. Yes, your fans would like to read about more adventures in time. Perhaps, hitting some famous spots and people, or solving some real historical mysteries.

-Yessireee! We's can time travel, we's can disappear at will, and we's fit in any time period you want to puts us in.
-"Oh, Lordy, Bessie, there you go rattlin' off at the mouth again.
-Well, there you have it, in the minds of your two characters, Sandra. It sounds like a great deal of fun to me, so I vote yes for however you want to do it. A wise person once said, "Try one and see how it goes from there."

I like that you let your characters watch you pace and that you let them help you with your decision. I think they came up with a good idea.
I like both trilogies and series books. But I think I prefer trilogies.

OMaybe you can mix both ideas and make it a series of trilogies making each trilogy one mystery.

Why is Mildred's hand making its way to her mouth? That spooks me. Otherwise they seem like a couple who could get on. I no longer say a limiting words such as trilogy, as things run away from me in their own sweet ways. Kate xx

It spooked me coz it's a typical Dementia gesture. Fingers is fine. How are you today? I'm posting for the first time since Thursday, but only things I've been planning for a while. One done, one to come depending on Daddy's needs. Otherwise, I'm living in my memories and generally feeling sad as I follow the Queen on her last, silent journey to Edinburgh (I hope they've cleaned the city up). I think that patch of grass will be completely worn down by the time you make a decision. It wouldn't be easy maintaining their two time frames along with the time in which your plot takes place, but it will be fun and I wish you well with the plan, whatever it may be.

Thank you, Jim! I had to stop myself writing Margot for Mildred a few times, but didn't catch that one! She has turned into Mildred now!! Lol.
As for the double apostrophes, I totally agree with you. I am wondering about using the double ones on here. If I am picked up (😂) by a publisher, I can change them with the 'find/change' button on MSWord. It used to be double here too, many years ago.
I don't think their age differences will enter into it. I only wrote that because Mildred said Veronica was getting older. If I get enough saying they'd like to see me write them as a team, I'll go with it. They will go back in time to many many different places if it does take off. It's keep me out of mischief! She must have been on the scene during the time I was taking a break from FanStory but my first encounter with Sandra's wonderful writing was with the architect who was having her work stolen, so I don't remember Mildred. I don't think I've met Veronica either. Since Mildred and Bessie are both time travelers, age probably doesn't matter. It sound like they make an awesome pair.
