Hi Gypsy Queen,
firstly, what a stunning image!
Transcending your words to greater heights.
It comes to no surprise to find Jupiter the biggest planet, encouraging growth and good fortune influenced by a kneeled Aquarius at her feet... an open-minded thinker, a solution solver.
There is a beautiful connection between the two, allowing oneself to move outside the realm of confinement, always searching towards the bigger picture.
The moon reflects its calming-hypnotic power on dreams envisioned, yet fulfilled, nudging them closer within a breath of anticipation.
This beautiful Modern Tanka will sit well between the beauty already within the One Thousand Cranes... there is a rich mysterious lingering that allows one mind to float... I love it!
Amor, respeto, besitos y abrazos Reina Gitana mi valiente lobo.
With our thoughts we create...
the bigger picture.
Kind regards,
James.

What can I say, James, your reviews are the best. I always look forward to them. I love your insight into my tanka. I write intuitively and I love to read other poets interpretation... giving my poem a deeper meaning. My friend Helen does that too, it's quite a gift you have.

What a fabulous tanka, Gypsy. I absolutely loved the pictures, the woman draped over the ??moon and Saturn's rings. Your words were truly justified and they showed the way to the universe. Blessed be n Hugs!

I particularly love the closing line: "nudging along empty dreams"! beautiful. Your Tanka is skilfully crafted, and the presentation is beautiful. Lovely work.

Beautiful poetry. I read the author's notes and they were helpful. I just dont have any talent with writing Haikus, tankas etc. But I appreciate their beauty.
Thank you for sharing this.

There is something about a tanka or a haiku that forms it's essence. You always capture that in your work.

reaching the heavens/ searching for that golden ring/ to lay at her feet/ the moon turns the other cheek/ tears are streams of empty dreams--- I liked your better, Gypsy. :) Thank you for sharing.

Oh, Gypsy!
Perfection!
I so love the tanka form, and yours contains all the elements of a perfect tanka.
The phrase, "nudging along empty dreams" is one of the most beautiful phrases you have ever penned!
Oh... and Happy Birthday... just a bit late!
Thank you for sharing!

Thank you, Diane, I went to Disneyland with my kids. We stayed at the grand hotel, my first time at the grand, the whole couple of days were a lot of fun.
Thank you very much for your exceptional six stars review .your kind words mean a lot to me coming from you, an expert Japanese poetry poet. Among many other forms.

This poem gives me an image of constellations all bumping into each other cause only one light to reflect and all those other dreams are lost.
Keep writing and stay healthy

Kahlil Gibran? My mentor in college. I read and absorbed everything I could of this tempered love genius. Your verse reflects not only the moon but Gibran's influence as well.
Very nice.

We actually had a college course on "The Prophet." That was back in the 70s of course, when Gibran stuff was all the rage, but it exposed me to something I would never have known about otherwise.

Another fine poem, Gypsy, cool picture....I'm freaking out at the surrealness of the picture; I'm a big fan of a naked woman draped over anything, the world or whatever!
