First, I love the warm, inside lighting and the house outside your window. Very nice photo.
Your words give the reader a feeling of the comfort and joy that praying brings. I miss both of my parents, but I feel they are in a better place too.

Your well written poem holds a lovely sentiment. It's obvious your mom loved you and you loved her in return. It's great to have a special place at home to worship and know an angel's watching over you.

This poem is so uplifting. I find, as well, that there are special private places where I've felt a connection with my parents, both long deceased--
I find more comfort there than my own words can convey but you've managed it quite skillfully!
Wherever their angels are? That's a sacred place to pray, to be sure!

I'm so glad you understand. I thought people might find me a little weird for finding comfort in the upper corner of a room. I didn't choose it...it chose me. You get it and I'm grateful for that. Thank you. John

It's lovely to have the assurance and comfort of the reality of a loved one's presence, and it is true that the role of some of God's holy angels is to watch over us. Lovely poem - and very well written.
