Thos one had an old world feeling to it. Pain of life is sometimes too much and we feel like we will break. Much like the ship that weather's the storm. Yet we move on, move forward. I may have totally missed the mark with my interpretation but that's what I got out of it. Beautiful.

I have always considered this a most difficult form to do, but you manage it quite well, Roy. But not only is it well-written, it conveys a very important and vital message, one that seems especially appropriate in these days of anger and hatred so apparent all around us. I am glad you wrote this.

When I said I didn't think you read my reviews, it was because so often I complain about your wonderful, meaningful author notes being distorted by these crazy, unintended symbols which insert themselves where commas or apostrophes should be... and yet nothing changes. I was all set to compliment you on these clean notes when I noticed one, but only one, mini-mess: *** "but the last stanza must be ?¢??" So... three-fourths of a compliment this time. And six stars for your wonderful poem. MM

Great writing, my friend :) Very creative post!
I can understand wearing an angry cloak. We all do this at times. It's a human behavior we all experience, some more than others. It's all about how we control it, resisting our urges to act on this emotion.

Thanks for sharing!
Always your fan,
Shana :)

This is an interesting poetry form. I never heard of it. You seem to have mastered it well. The text is large enough to read, but it could be bigger for my old eyes. However, most will say it is fine.
The visual of broken glass fits okay. Thanks for sharing.

I don't know what to say, Roy. I love everything you write. You're a poet through and through.
The topic you've chosen is one I can relate to. I sometimes feel angry and hurt the people I love and also myself.
Thanks for sharing.

Your skillfully written poem, through an expressive blend of literal and figurative language, describes that time at which someone realizes he/she cannot, on sheer human will, "clear" his/her name of sin.

It is okay to be angry, just don't take it to bed with you, Roy. It's a great
Pantoum and a great vent for anger. The picture was delightful for what ever it was, I am not sure. I really appreciated your narrative notes. Blessings.

At first, when I saw the picture and your poem's title, I thought the title was "Angry Clock" haha. I enjoyed this. My favorite part is the "vapours vanish with the wind."
