Hello author, your poem is filled with vivid imagery. In 17 syllables, you have created a complete scene. With or without the photo, I can see it and I can hear it. I especially liked:
harsh winter winds are howling
(Good alliteration and imagery)
As this is a contest entry, I wish you good luck. LateBloomer

Author,
Your excellent poem gave me images of desolate winter days and nights that I dread.
Winter nights have their own sound, like you describe.
Great 5-7-5 poem.
Good luck
Blessings, Cindy

Your poem is lovely and well-written. I can almost feel the approaching storm when I read your words. The picture is remarkable and perfect for the subject of your writing. Best of luck in the contest.

Thank you so much.

I love the progression in this - subtle personification with the trees dancing with the clouds, the revelation the Winter's wind is the choreographer, then the realisation that a storm is funding the whole project :-)
