I am totally deferring to Jake...who got all of them. I'm coming upon this oh, about a decade late and it just seemed wrong to spend a lot of time pondering the ones I didn't catch at first glance! Clever poem though! (OBVIOUSLY, since it was the winner!)

This is funny with its examples of juxtaposition. Actually the literary technique of juxtaposition is the crux of the poem. It is this figure of speech that keeps this an organized poem. Well orchestrated.

Awe Liz I love how you phrased that. You are so very in tune to different writing techniques, yet lol, I kind of made this up as I went along. It started out to be about antonyms, but with only thirty words allowed, it soon changed. Thank you my friend for such a fun review and also so many lovely comments. Much appreciated!

And if you need a dunce cap, so do I because when I went to recount them without my notes, even I was confused. Lol!! I have had a few others also say that this would make a great contest, so it may be something that I will have to think about in the near future. Oh my gosh Jake, you are amazing! You got every one of them. Most miss the fact that it says on first line, as you see. And since I didn't show a picture, you can't see that. Awesome job my friend. You just gave me the biggest smile as I am so happy you played along with this silly game of mine. I love interacting among us friends here and to have a little fun is such a bonus.

Lol, actually it's the only picture I could find of a tree in a dessert. So you are absolutely right about the hammock. I was really in a strange mood and I love humerus posts so thought with only thirty words, I just was in the mood to be different.. I do thank you my friend!

Thanks so much Lily for playing my silly little game. You did great and I used almost every word to be contradictory, so it really was confusing.
I don't have my notes on my right now, but I know that in line one it says, 'as you see' (well since I didn't show a picture, you couldn't see). Also in the first line, 'identical quintuplets' (although not impossible, quintuplets aren't known for ever being identical) and swam 'alone' (if they could have swam to a desert, they weren't alone, but together) Thanks so much for giving me a big smile tonight. I so appreciate it!

Whether or not this is f u n n y might be question but it is inventive and at second read, after reading your notes, I found eight immediately. I won't look no more as I have the rest of the submissions to read. That said, I give you six stars, and cannot for reason figure why.

I am one stick that fell from a bundle.
That makes me a target as one stick is easy to break in half alone where a group of ten, not so much. I yelled when the bundle left but as the sound of the bundle departed I heard another stick mumble, "it's only Tom." Leave him be. I hear his nickname is Silent Eddy.

You maybe couldn't find eleven but just the fact that you tried is awesome. I just may take you up on that site contest idea. Thanks again my friend.
