Hi Kahpot, good haiku format and imagery. I especially liked:
dry rivers flow
(Good Satori Line)
Beautiful artwork choice and presentation. Well done. Keep the blue waters flowing. LateBloomer

Shows what I know. I didn't know there was such a thing as a 5-6-4 haiku.
But there are a lot of things I don't know. I haven't seen a change of season or snow since I moved to south Florida in 2011. Always summer and green. There are 50 states in the United States in 2021, and 49 of the 50 got snow. Only Florida did not... because we have no mountains... We just get rain. Plenty of rain. I liked your poem.

Thank you, Thomas, here in Australia our weather is very different to America, where I live in Queensland we rarely if ever get snow, mainly sunshine, occasional rain and the yearly cyclones, as always very much appreciated****kahpot

There are extremes within the seasons and the land and occupants suffer with such disasters, a fine write and I loved the colourful image too, love Dolly x

Very nice, and exactly true. You've chosen a very lovely picture to accompany your fine and well-expressed Haiku words on the theme of seasons of the year.

I like how you find the rivers source in this. It is the rebound of nature. Completely random things that work together. This was very lovely and such a stunning work.

Your club response is beautiful. The image is awesome.
Your words paint their own picture for readers even if
no picture had been included. This is one of your best
haiku!
Thanks for sharing, Jan

Water is an essential part of life, in fact all living creatures need, it's essential from a heavenly perspective, it's the prime metaphor for cleanliness. Both from sin, and a sign of death to the old life. Beautifully written Kimbob. Blessings Roy

It really is a sign of the change of seasons when the dry river beds are again full of flowing water. You captured that seasonal event well and take us to the source - the melting snow on the mountains!

This haiku, Upon Season's Change, presented with a 5-6-4 formatting, covers the transitional time when the ice becomes water and the dormant earth lives again.
