Laughing here...
I know! It's not funny! It just reminds me of "The dog ate my homework!"
The muse is elusive enougj...she needs no help from the wind!

Now I think you are grasping for excuses. This is a nice poetic way to phrase that you can't think of anything to write. But I see it really did happen. Not good. Get inside. What's a poet doing outside anyway? ;))

Enjoying the mother nature and the thoughts she may bring. Try it outside, you might like it. Thanks for the read and the feedback. Anyway, I thought it beat the dog eat it.

This under-ten-word poem, Poem in the Wind, uses nine of the required word count and notes that, paradoxically, the poem read is the poem swept away.

-Nice artwork and presentation.
-Thanks for the note, too.
-You have used your few words well with a good topic.
-Effective nature imagery, and the concluding line is good,
showing the result of the breeze that 'swept in'.
-Good luck in the contest.

No pun intended but this is
a wonderfully breezy poem
under 10 words. A great
contender for the contest.
My very best wishes for this
contest. Have a very creative
week. ~

Very cute and funny. Excellent use of ten words and you paint great visuals with your words.
That's why I usually write my poetry inside (lol).
Excellent rendition of the contest theme, good luck in the contest.

Yes, it is safer, but I still like to write outside especially in the morning. Thanks for the read and the comments.

Laughing out loud at the inference to the dog ate my homework. Very cleverly done and the picture you chose is perfect. All the best in the competition.
