Living in Europe I can't afford not to watch the news despite it is very depressing and upsetting.
Every morning I'm relieved that WW3 has not begun.
I'm tired of this tug of war between America and Russia, Ukraine has become their battle field. 8 million refugees from Ukraine have entered Europe.
Officially, in the month of July 155,000 illegals from Africa crossed the Mediterranean Sea and reached our coasts (Italy). The real number most probable is double.
Climate change has really become a serious issue.. droughts , floods, fires over the globe in the last two years. So much suffering.
Instead of sending billion to Ukraine , it's time to make peace and unite global efforts and offer concrete solution to the many issues in our world starting off with famine.

yeah watching the news gives one the blues. I watch a lot of CNN here in Korea and occasionally MSNBC but avoid Fox news. Ironically fox news is available in Korea but not on my service I see it occasionally when traveling in the countryside where it seems to pop up and on the military bases where they go through the day with CNN/MSNBC and Fox shows. trying to be fair I suppose. and BBC and Arriang TV Korean news in English

Good response to the writing prompt. The news also makes me feel down, to the point where I barely watch it anymore. The late news keeps me up at night!!!!!!!!!!!!
