This haiku names two things that indicate the arrival of fall: the "slight chill in the air," and "School bells..." The old fashioned school bell would be a pleasure to hear as an alternative to modern buzzers and klaxons.
Fall Slips In" reminds the reader of two emblems that mark the fall, and its author hasn't even mentioned leaves! This short poem has lines that end with similar sounds: "air," "hear,"and "here." A sonic consistency like this is like taps on the reader's wrist.

    Yes, I agree about the school bells. I was a teacher for ten years, and those buzzers they use now are SO annoying. I hated when it was time for it to go off. Thank you very much for reading and reviewing.
