This is a good one. I can't believe it when I see a driver using his cell phone. I wonder how many lives we would save if cell phones were outlawed. We got along just fine without them for years.

this is a problem i don't think can be stop. the only way to prevent these type of accident is they have to banned texting while driving. your poem was great,great in its writing. thanks for the read.

You did a great job describing cell phone caused tragedy. You made come alive. I found the tense is inconsistent. The last two lines and a line in the second stanza should be also in the past tense per my humble opinion.

Wow, this poem is a smack in the face to this idiocy. It's been growing worse, I'm afraid. Young ones are not the only ones though and has become a widespread problem and cause of death. Thank you for sharing.

Great lesson to everyone in this message of awareness of texting and driving. I see people as I drive along and wonder when they will have the awakening you describe. I pray for safety for my children and grandchildren as they are on the road.

a poem such as this will smack the reader in the face with the reality of the Russian roulette played by those using mobile phones whilst driving, especially the texting aspect.
I see it every time I'm on the road driving, every time. And even though it is illegal to do so here in Australia, it doesn't curb the habitual addiction one iota. It blows my mind!

This is a very emotional poem that addresses one of the major problems in today's society. Texting while driving is just as dangerous as driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol. Well done Tommy.
