This 5-7-5, Cornfield in Rain, has the proper formatting and creates this scene of beauty holding on through the onslaught of chilling change.

Thanks for your review of this contest entry. The world would prefer the rainfall over the cornfields rather than the Russian reign over Ukraine.

This is a beautifully worded 5-7-5 poem. The text is large and easy to read. The nature message is clearly stated. Your notes are also informative. The visual fits perfectly. Job well-done. Good luck in the contest.

I enjoyed this piece. I love your words, accompanied by the artwork. A good rain is always welcome, and you express the drooping corn stalks very nicely! Great job! Best, JohnC.

The only thing raining down on Ukraine are bombs, author. I wish for war to leave and peace to reign. I know it is wishful thinking, but we can pray so the children can come out and play in the fields. This is a very good offering for the 5-7-5 Contest. Thank you for sharing.

I think any farmer who has spent months in the fields tending his corn would agree that in Fall, those stalks are "royal beauty." Let's hope that is true this year. Around here the corn crop has been sparse lately. Rod
