Willow in the breeze reminds of a waterfall.

Harry,
I like this metaphoric view of the willow in your well used 20 syllables.
I like the sound of the wind through the branches to be a water fall of tears of the sad and weeping tree. Good personification.
Congrats on placing second in the conetest.
Keep writing and stay healthy
Joan

Picture, and words go so well together.
Your poem uses the 20 syllable poem requirement for the contest, and you used those words well...God luck in the contest, this is a very good entry..Thanks for sharing...I'm giving this one 6 stars, for both structure, and meaning..

Harry,

Darn good - has that Haiku feel! Do like your w-letter alliterations dripping throughout your poem. Phrasing most descriptive of the scene you painted in words.

This twenty-syllable poem, Willow, has the proper count and captures the sights and sounds of nature howling through the trees. Nice.

Harry,

I like the imagery you have used in this twenty-word poem. I had imagined the visual (before reading), but not thought about the sound. Very nice poem.

Thank you, Sue, for your read and encouraging feedback. When I was young, we had a willow in our backyard. I loved to lie beneath its branches and listen to leaves as they waved in the wind.
