Hi Paul, I knew that George only had a few hours to live. I was waiting to hear. I went out to the mailbox, and suddenly there was a dark cloud above me. I shuffled through my mail, and when I looked up again, the cloud opened up in the middle and a light shined down. About an hour later, I got the call that he had passed. I thought the dark cloud was George passing, and the bright light was George ascending. In the midst of the cloud, my imagination saw his face. I knew he was gone at the moment. Thanks for asking. I was almost going to put all of this in the author's notes, but then I thought some people would think that I was just crazy, and I didn't want the banter. Thanks for asking, and thank you for the great review. LateBloomer

In my opinion, this free verse message in tribute to a family member appeared more prescriptive than heartfelt. While the standard is smooth, even more acceptable in a eulogical presentation, an emotional rendering is never faulted for its capacity to inspire feelings in the reader...

It's always comforting to know that we have a heavenly home to go to when our time on earth is at its end, such a pity that the new heart would come too late, but it a better place he lives, and God will give George a new body, and a heart to go with it.
