I found the story line to be intriguing and I am looking forward to reading the next chapter. However, the format seems all wrong. You wrote it as a poem, but it reads like a story. Also, the dates are wrong. You state your dream came true in 1984. The next line reads you going back 35 years to the year 1987. You have dialog with no quote marks, also, capitalizing words that shouldn't be. Change it to a story and you'll have a real winner, seriously.
