Hello Paul,
I had a question at the end of the first stanza...
leave my humble place of birth â?" (Is this â?" supposed to be there?)
This ship of life that we call Earth.

I love classically rhymed poems, which so many people don't do anymore. (That might make me an old geezer.) I appreciate someone with an ear for a beat and who knows how to use a thesaurus!

The message is interesting too. I was just so happy about the form; I was distracted for a bit. Your poem reminds me of some that my brother wrote. Nice work.

Thanks, Thomas. I have edited out the glitch. I'm an old geezer right there with you.

A well-crafted and beautifully written poem of faith. The rhyming is perfect, with an easy flow. I like the thought of no disagreements to fix or sides to choose.
Well done.
Good luck in the contest.
Best wishes,
Mary

I love the idea of a place where there are no sides and we can just get to know people without emotion burgeoning anger. This is beautifully rhymed with a great flow.

Thanks, Mike. There will probably be emotions there, but not the ones that you allude to.

Love it. An easy read. Has good flow and pace. Had this reader wanting more.
In school, Saint Stan's the nun said, "God has a chart and on one side he marks the bad and the other side he marks the good. You need more good than bad to get to heaven."

Thank you!
