Ooh, I knew I was saving those six stars for something special. This was even better the second time around, Jill. It's almost like the person telling you the chicken story IS your night creature, you know? Nice work, and good luck in the contest. If I get my act together enough to know when the judging happens, you've got my vote!

Thank you Laurie! Thank you for the six stars as well as your kind words. I wanted the person telling the chicken story to be kind of creepy so I'm glad that came through. The contest is a long ways off so I'll probably forget to vote too.

Eek, that really is a disturbing story! I never thought about weasels that way before. I could never keep animals! You write this well and effectively.

Thank you for your review! I couldn't keep animals either because I'm rather squeamish.

Yes, horror stories disturb me also. Especially the ones you know could happen in real life. I avoid them usually. This didn't invite a laugh, but well done. Great visuals. Blessings, Barbara, xo

Thank you for your review! I didn't really think of it as a horror story but I see that it probably is. Thanks for that insight.
