What a brilliant take on this famous piece! I know it well, and yet have received new insight from your short concise poem. Dali helps us see that time distorts the past. I even wrote a short story about this piece once. Thanks!

I've seen this painting many, many times yet, until your poem, could not ever make sense of it. It would just look at it, cock my head to one side and say, "Huh?" So thank you for the revelation!!

I'm glad someone chose Dali for this contest. His works are so incredibly creative. I even love his early works, before he got into all of the melting clocks and such. He was quite versatile as an artist.

I think this poem speaks to the vision of Dali and his "inner eye.
Sparkling in your 5-7-5 poem:
-Your 3rd line causes the reader to reflect and explore. This line really works as it opens to direct access to the ideas of the subconscious.
-Your poem invites readers to see or step into new perspectives and dimensions of time, to focus on the uncanny and the unexpected or to make connections with unrelated objects like: clocks and memories drooping, perhaps.
Insightful poem. Nicely done.
